Paolo Salvati (b. February 22, 1939, Rome, Italy-d. June 24, 2014, Rome, Italy), Italian expressionist painter. Artist among the twentieth century Italian Masters, exponent of expressionist painting, portraitist, miniaturist, luthier and restorer of gold and silver wood leaf frames. He devoted his life to art and adopted a severe style firmly anchored to traditional values but his works show an unique style as well. He was deeply inspired by artists like Lorrain, Poussin, Turner, Lautrec...
